- Your watch party must be affiliated with an institution, organization or academic entity.
- One person serves as the Watch Party Coordinator, completing registration and handling communication.

Technical requirements
To ensure a smooth viewing experience, your watch party should meet these minimum capabilities.
Streaming platform
Use a professional platform such as Vimeo Livestream, Hopin, Zoom Events or a private YouTube stream with a registration gate. The platform must support:
- High-definition video (720p minimum, 1080p preferred)
- Low-latency streaming
- Embedded chat or Q&A tools, if interactive
Institutional checklist
- Stable internet: at least 25 Mbps download, preferably wired
- A/V setup: projector or large TV, speakers and backup cables
- Livestream access: a device that can run the browser-based platform or streaming app
- Host point person: an on-site tech contact for troubleshooting
- Viewing license: agreement not to redistribute or record the conference
